After graduating from UNSW with an honours Science degree in Psychology, Rob spent the early part of his career cutting up human brains in a neuroscience lab. That nascent interest in how the mind works – at a neurological, as well as a behavioral level, sent him all over the globe in search of answers to some of life’s more pressing existential questions. In particular, questions such as why do we do what we do – and how can we lead healthier, happier lives.

At one point he thought the answers lay in how the world is presented to us – through the news, media and advertising, so he immersed himself in journalism and advertising, and the myriad stories of people who made up the mozaic of modern life, and how they made choices in life.

He studied and worked with governments and companies – these after all are simply made up of people – as a senior strategist to see how they defined, created, and yes, manipulated happiness in others.

After many years working throughout Asia, Australia and the UK he felt he began to get closer to an answer, and took up meditation.

Meditation retreats in such far flung places as Cambodia and Wales, along with courses in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and meditation teacher training at the British School of Meditation (BSOM) finally cleared the fog as to how to lead a more positive, happier life.

Rob now is a a co-founder and senior instructor of Mindfulness Meditation and Personal Branding at Positive Bubble. Combining his strategic understanding of how brands, governments and people think and make decisions, with his skills in teaching people how to get the best from their minds and bodies through Mindful Meditation.

SooHui has worked in the Advertising and Media industry across various roles such as account servicing, marketing, and sales, and have lived in different countries such as Singapore, New York, Hong Kong, Sydney, Shanghai and is now based in London. She is the co-founder and Pilates Instructor and Life Coach of Positive Bubble.

Her motto in life is “To love, be loved, never stop learning, never stop moving”. She embraces change in her life and is always looking for ways to live a better and more fulfilling life.

She applies the same principles when helping her clients in Pilates and Life Coaching and aims to make a difference to people’s lives by empowering them to take charge and lead a more positive life.

She received her life coaching certification from New York University and has been coaching clients to help them achieve their goals and lead a more authentic life through coaching techniques to help them discover where they want to be, empower them to take responsibility and action, and uncover the road blocks that are stopping them from moving forward from where they are to where they want to be.

As a Pilates Instructor, she creates positive and pain-free movement experiences in a safe environment that will encourage them to never stop moving and subsequently lead happier and healthier lifestyles.

She strives to work with clients, especially on an individual basis, to identify their needs, and equip them with confidence and capability that will help them execute personalised movement strategies built on correct body alignment and muscle recruitment, working towards a pain-free and happy existence.
